盐釜（Shiogama）坐拥日本最负盛名的金枪鱼市场之一，是东北地区的重要港口。每年的港口烟花大会是盐釜港祭（Shiogama Port Festival Fireworks · 塩釜みなと祭花火大会）的压轴重头戏。数千发烟花从停泊在港湾中的驳船上腾空而起，五彩倒影在渔船与游艇之间的水面上层层荡漾。节庆期间还设有当地海鲜美食摊、神轿巡游，以及乘坐华丽彩船的"神轿海上渡御"仪式，热闹非凡。乘坐仙石线（Senseki Line）可从仙台便捷抵达，是仙台市民及外地游客青睐的一日游好去处。
