Yomiuri Land's Jewellumination is one of the Kanto region's most spectacular winter illumination events, developed in collaboration with jewellery designer Nobuhiro Shimura to use coloured LEDs that mimic precious gemstones. Over 1.5 million lights bedeck the roller coasters, gondola rides, and landscaped grounds, while the Sky Gondola cable car offers a panoramic aerial view of the shimmering park below. Special themed zones change annually, with past highlights including a diamond rose garden and a sapphire river trail. The park's rides operate during the illumination period, making it a full evening entertainment destination.
