Sanboji Park in Tokorozawa is one of Saitama Prefecture's most prized koyo destinations, centred on a serene pond ringed by Japanese maples, ginkgo, and zelkova that reach peak colour in mid-November. The reflections of red and gold canopies in the still water are a perennial favourite among local photographers. Wooden walking bridges and stone lanterns give the park a traditional garden character without formal admission charges. The surrounding Megumimai cherry grove transitions into russet autumn tones, extending the colour palette well beyond the central pond area.
