Each winter, the Keyakizaka street at Roppongi Hills becomes one of Tokyo's most photographed illumination spots, with over 700 zelkova trees wrapped in brilliant white LEDs creating a luminous canopy above the upscale shopping promenade. The display extends to the Roppongi Hills Arena and the TV Asahi garden, where additional light installations are unveiled annually. The complex's art-forward identity means the illumination is often paired with contemporary art installations and projection mapping on the Mori Tower facade. Restaurants and rooftop bars in the complex offer intimate views of the lights alongside seasonal menus.
