The Yodogawa Hanabi Taikai is held along the Yodo River in northern Osaka and is consistently ranked among the top fireworks festivals in Japan. Approximately 20,000 fireworks are launched over 75 minutes, drawing crowds of up to 530,000 spectators along the riverbanks. The wide, flat riverbed provides excellent sightlines, and the urban Osaka skyline forms a dramatic backdrop. Yukata-clad visitors fill the area with food stalls, creating a festive, quintessentially Japanese summer atmosphere.
