Ōmagari National Fireworks Competition (Ōmagari Zenkoku Hanabi Kyōgikai)

Over 100 fireworks companies compete across multiple categories, launching more than 18,000 shells above the Omono River in a single evening. The event draws upwards of 750,000 spectators and is broadcast nationally, making it one of Japan's most celebrated summer events.
