Okinawa World in Nanjo City hosts an autumn harvest festival each October and November centred on the theme of Ryukyuan agricultural tradition. The theme park's extensive tropical botanical garden, which surrounds Gyokusendo Cave, displays flowering tropical plants and seasonal foliage change among its Habu Museum and Eisa performance stages. Visitors can try hands-on sugarcane harvesting, awamori tasting, and watch traditional Eisa drum-dance performances staged more frequently during the autumn event period. The cave itself maintains a constant 21°C making it a refreshing retreat.
