The Nakamura House in Kita-Nakagusuku Village is a beautifully preserved 18th-century Ryukyuan gentry farmhouse designated as a National Important Cultural Property. Its enclosed garden, sheltered by traditional stone walls and fukugi windbreak trees, shows subtle autumnal colour change in November and December. Visitors can tour the tatami-floored interior, examine traditional Okinawan architectural features such as the hinpun stone screen, and enjoy the garden's seasonal atmosphere. The quiet village hillside location offers views across central Okinawa.
