Oasis 21, the iconic glass-canopy structure adjacent to Nagoya TV Tower, becomes a centrepiece of the city's winter illumination from November, with its 'Galaxy Platform' upper level bathed in LED light that shimmers off the water feature above. The adjoining Hisaya Odori Park, redeveloped in 2020, extends the festive atmosphere along the city's central boulevard with arched light tunnels, themed zones, and seasonal food vendors. The Nagoya TV Tower itself is illuminated in complementary colours, and the combination makes for a walkable, photogenic winter evening in the heart of the city. Pop-up markets selling mulled wine, German sausages, and local Nagoya delicacies operate throughout the period.
